Contestant No. 1. Cybercorp from IO Games

Cybercorp -This is a online cooperative cyberpunk player, where you are fighting for the best future! The game takes place in the XXV century when Cybercorp Corporation learned to create artificial human bodies and temporarily load people's consciousness for military operations in them. Each player takes on the role of an agent who should fight for the ideals of the corporation!

About the developer

Io Games release games for iOS and PC on Unity 3D – they already have more than 30 published projects. Specifically, four members of the Irkutsk team work on Cybercorp: Anton Pashinin (game design, programming), Anastasia Dukhnich (3D design, characters, environment, animation), Anton Titov (sound design and gaming balance) and Anton Nefedov (prototyping, interface). They are going to release the game in 2020 at Nintendo Switch.

In the XXV century, due to many cosmic, nuclear and biological wars, the planet became unsuitable for a long life. But thanks to the invention of three -dimensional biological printing, people began to create special “shells”, which allowed their “avatars” to control their “avatars” and not to be exposed to dangerous environmental impacts.

CyberCorp Corporation has improved the approach to the use of the shells: they learned to partially copy the consciousness of real people in them. But due to the simplified model of consciousness, the shell could only perform specific tasks, went crazy over time and became dangerous. As a result, artificial bodies began to be used exclusively for combat operations – for example, for corporate wars in which Cybercorp was involved. You take on the role of one of the agents of this corporation, who will have to plunge into endless conflicts with enemies and competitors.

At the starting location (main base), you can choose tasks, develop a character, work with an inventory, buy and sell weapons, armor or chips, customize equipment and pump the uniforms with resources that are mined in missions. This works in the opposite direction: you can also disassemble weapons, armor and chips back to resources.

The player has three slots for weapons: one for close combat, the second for pistols, revolvers and PP, the third is designed for machine guns, rifles, shotguns, etc.p. Three slots are also allotted under the armor: the head, torso and legs are separately protected. You can try to assemble a complete set of armor, or you can wear elements from different sets. In addition, you can increase the level of quality of weapons and armor for resources – then new slots for chips will open (in fact, chips are increased characteristics).

Most "combat" locations in the game are generated from unique blocks to maintain the interest of repeated passages. Each type of locations has its own topic, enemies and tasks. Four locations are presented in the game: a large city, factory, small city and elevator. And each can have different tasks: interception of data at several points, destroying objects on the map, killing all mobs on the map (or killing several mobs at a certain time), defense of the object from several waves of enemies.

Cybercorp has many opponents that are not similar to each other: each has its own behavior algorithm, they can occupy shelters, retreat for reloading, throw grenades and use special skills. On some locations there will be mini-bosses and bosses-also with their special skills and unique behavior.

You can go through all this in a cooperative up to three players. The complexity increases with an increase in the number of users on the map.

Frakktus – This is an endless musical arcade, swinging an emotional mood and reminiscent of forgotten or new simple truths. Control the brain probe, shake your inner feelings, increase emotional perception through color, destroy mental blocks and arouse the mind.

About the developer

Alexander Conferno: I am the only developer Frakktus and I am responsible for everything in the project: and the code (I taught Pascal according to the articles of the gambling from the 2000s, then at twenty-four retrained to C#), and all visuals and animations. The idea of ​​the project came back in 2016, when I was tired of the routine work of the Motion-designer for a large company and I wanted to write my full-fledged indie game. It took a lot of courage and effort to start developing a project alone in the summer of 2017, without constant income and comfort zone.

But for this it is necessary to constantly move, because only in the movement the beam of the probe is able to hit blocks. Accumulate mantras and nuclei, open up new blocks for yourself and fight against them for the truth.

The colors of the project swing the player’s emotional mood, in addition, you can strengthen the impressions of gameplay by choosing your favorite music in the menu from the library.
